OFFERING QUALITY RIDING STOCK FOR SALE
Here
at Water Tower Farm, we pride ourselves in our success rate in pairing buyers for the best
horse for them. The fact that we have a number of repeat customers for that
second horse speaks for itself. Our sales philosophy is quite simple: we use what
we sell and we sell what we use, whether it be trail or show. With that being
said, here's a sample of what we currently have for sale. If you didn't find exactly what

AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN - Sir is a
registered, four-year old, 15.1 hand, profoundly handsome,
dappled grey, two
gaited Tennessee Walking horse. Sir is two gaited, but has had a life
time of limited, now and then riding
experience. He's well mannered, patient, and stands for mounting. He
just needs some additional, consistent time under saddle. "Like
my across the fence neighbor Midas, I'm a stallion but I have the
temperament of a gelding and my gelding pasture-mates would readily agree
that I an civil, playful and friendly. It would be a shame to geld me
because of my color and my ancestrial gene pool. My name belies my
character." There's hardly enough space on Sir's papers to fit all
the "WCG" designations of his pedigree.....Sun's Delight/Delight of Pride,
Ebony's Senator/Ebony Masterpiece, Merry Go Boy, Midnight Sun, and Carbon
Copy/Shades of Carbon Copy. Sir's sire was the once popular show
stallion, Another Grey John and the sire of WGC The Touch. "I haven't
been used for breeding yet because my owners wanted to be sure I had the
emotional and physical maturity to engage is responsible sexual activity."
Sir's temperament, looks, conformation and bloodlines will make him a sought out sire. $6500
MISSY’S APRIL GIRL - Ma is a registered,
thirteen-year old, 15.2 hand, beautiful, chestnut Tennessee Walking
Horse mare. Her sire was a
Art Deco, a tobiano, and her off-paper pedigree is all old time
bloodlines. She has typical concentrations of Merry Go Boy and
Midnight Sun plus a bit of the Red Warrior bloodline. She has been
extensively trial ridden when younger, and some now and then while she was used as a
broodmare over the last six years. We've settled her on ground work
and have ridden her over the winter and have done some trail work this
spring. We've had her up and back a fairly well traveled paved road
with logging truck traffic. She is three gaited, with a trail
rack as her third gait. She has a big motor and is comfortable to ride. $2800.
MAJOR'S DOS DE MAYO - Dos (pronounced
"dose") is a big and bold, registered, 16 hand, 3 gaited, black
Tennessee
Walking Horse, with 4 white socks. He's is kind, gentle and patient
and stands for mounting.. He hasn't seen much riding over the winter
time since we acquired him and needs some time in the saddle to get him back
in prime condition. We have had him out a few times this year on trails and
paved roads and
even with a mare riding mate. He has a long sweeping ground covering stride. "With my
even temperament and kind disposition, I'm a family horse even though I
am still a stallion and have foals on the ground. I just wish my
owners knew how to take a better picture." He has been used
for both trail riding and breeding. His dam, a mare with a huge motor
and flawless running walk, is a direct daughter of Pride's Jubilee Star with
a bottom line of Sun's Delight/Delight Bumin Around. His sire, a
consistent top contender in the New England show circuit, has a steep
Merry Go Boy tradition mixed with Ebony Masterpiece. $4,000
ACE’S MISS JOY - Baby Girl is a registered,
three-year old, 15 hand, two-gaited coal black Tennessee Walking
Horse mare, with no markings, who's
grandsire was one of breed's greatest progenitors, The Pusher. She has a
great blend of the world grand champions The Pusher, Carbon Copy, Major
Wilson, Go Boy's Shadow and Pride's Secret Threat. Although she was started
under saddle last year, we gave her some extra time off to grow, and is
resuming her under-saddle training. She is well gaited, very sweetly
tempered and people friendly. Excellent show and broodmare potential. $2,700.
